ABOUT THE ROLE
Not more than 45 years old. A certified plant mechanic with experience in the planned maintenance of alluvial treatment plants with particular reference to vibratory feeders, Moustier scrubbers, vibratory screens and conveyor belts. The maintenance and overhaul of centrifugal pumps is also a required skill. Must have experience in the maintenance and repair of Heavy Media separation plants. Must have the skills to accurately identify problems and rectify with minimal supervision. Must be a team person. Must be willing to train his fellow workers and assistants. Must have a valid professional driver’s license.
Difficult work conditions are to be expected. Candidates must expect long hours of work. Single status, renewable contracts are offered. Salary in US$ and leave rotations will be discussed at interview. Those with wide experience from foreign employers preferred.
