ABOUT THE ROLE
Not more than 45 years old. Main function will be to repair worn holes on earthmoving machine bearing pin bores as well as fabricate/repair parts that can be salvaged. Must be competent with the operation of a lathe, milling machine and line boring equipment. CNC machine experience will be an added advantage. With minimum 10 years experience in a parts fabrication position preferably in a large earthmoving or ship building environment. Must be an innovative person who can suggest repair plans from experience. Must have a sound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English. Must have a valid professional driver’s license.
Difficult work conditions are to be expected. Candidates must expect long hours of work. Single status, renewable contracts are offered. Salary in US$ and leave rotations will be discussed at interview. Those with wide experience from foreign employers preferred.
