ABOUT THE ROLE
Not more than 45 years old. A qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Workshop Foreman/Manager. The successful candidate will be required to lead a team of technicians to maintain a predominantly MAN fleet according to sound engineering practice and equipment specifications. With a Mechanical Engineering Degree or a qualified Diesel Mechanic with Trade Certificate at recognized accredited institution. MAN and Shacman truck experience will be an advantage. With 15 years experience in corrective and preventive maintenance of support equipment that cater for maintenance of earthmoving machines in a mining environment. Toyota experience will be an advantage. Must have a sound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English. Must have a valid professional driver’s license.
Difficult work conditions are to be expected. Candidates must expect long hours of work. Single status, renewable contracts are offered. Salary in US$ and leave rotations will be discussed at interview. Those with wide experience from foreign employers preferred.
