CAT Engine Specialist

Not more than 45 years old. A qualified earthmoving equipment mechanic with minimum 5 years experience in a mining environment. Must be fully conversant with overhaul to Caterpillar standards of some of the following units: CAT 3306, 3408, 3176, C9, C11, C15 and C18. Candidates will also have experience on engine electronics (ECM’s and ACERT). Ex-dealer personnel preferred. Basic computer skills are required. Must have a valid professional driver’s license.

Difficult work conditions are to be expected. Candidates must expect long hours of work. Single status, renewable contracts are offered. Salary in US$ and leave rotations will be discussed at interview. Those with wide experience from foreign employers preferred.
