ABOUT THE ROLE
Not more than 45 years old. A qualified and experienced Earthmoving Machines Workshop Foreman/Manager. The successful candidate will be required to lead a team of technicians to maintain a predominantly Caterpillar equipment fleet according to sound engineering practice and equipment specifications. With a Mechanical Engineering Degree or a qualified Diesel Mechanic with Trade Certificate at recognized accredited institution. With Caterpillar Dealer Training Certificates. With 15 years experience in corrective and preventive maintenance of earthmoving machines in a mining environment. Caterpillar equipment experience will be an advantage. Must have a sound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English. Must have a valid professional driver’s license.
Difficult work conditions are to be expected. Candidates must expect long hours of work. Single status, renewable contracts are offered. Salary in US$ and leave rotations will be discussed at interview. Those with wide experience from foreign employers preferred.
