ABOUT THE ROLE
Not more than 45 years old. Must be knowledgeable in the fabrication and repair of steel structures, the maintenance of treatment plants and earthmoving vehicles, with a minimum of 5 years experience on equipment maintenance (BOOMS, STICKS, AND BUCKETS). Must have experience in the welding of High strength steel and Liner plate, e.g. Weldox 700 and Hardox 400. Should have a sound knowledge of preheat, interpass heat and post heat processes. Must be willing to train his/her fellow workers and assistants.
Difficult work conditions are to be expected. Candidates must expect long hours of work. Single status, renewable contracts are offered. Salary in US$ and leave rotations will be discussed at interview. Those with wide experience from foreign employers preferred.
